I love the season of Advent. This year, Advent begins on Sunday, Nov. 28.
I often break out the Christmas music…or at least the Advent music. I usually pick up an extra devotional for reading during the season. I often participate in some kind of Advent retreat.
So I wanted to share some of my favorite resources for your Advent devotion.
This year I will be reading a series of Bible passages selected for Advent from my Logos Bible software. If you would be interested in reading along with me, send me an e-mail and I will send you a list of the readings.
You can also check out one of my favorite Advent devotional books by Walter Wangerin, Jr. “Preparing for Jesus.” You can find a Kindle version on Amazon. I think the book itself it out of print.
You will find below my favorite Advent and Christmas playlists on Spotify.
I also frequently participate in an Advent retreat. Here is a link to one offered last weekend by my friend Christine Sine who blogs at Godspacelight.com.
With all these resources and whatever you find. I wish you a blessed and holy Advent.
God bless,
Coe
This year we are doing the Celtic Advent devotional, “Leaning Towards the Light “.
Cool! That’s a wonderful one. You will enjoy it, I’m sure. I think I remember you were going to do a chronological Bible study next year, is that correct. I am going to do that too!
